Introduction

Rashtriya Prodyogik Prashikshan Sansthan (RPPS) is working under the aegis of skill development program formulated by Government of India. RPPS has been formulated with the cooperation in the form of Registration in Ministry of Labor and Employment,Govt. of India. Rashtriya Prodyogik Prashikshan Sansthan is in line with National Vocational Training Program which primarily focus in skill development.
This body has been facilitated with Copyright Office in the domain of a professional institute ruled by Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt of India.The Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt of India has given us the accreditation to ensure quality training in Small and medium Scale Industries in rural and semi urban areas.
All India Information Technology, has been associated with RPPS for IT Literacy and “Digital India” Campaign.RPPS has been Certified with Quality Council of India for its promotion as a Professional Institute providing skill training as per the norms and guidelines followed by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship,Govt. of India

Mission

The mission of RPPS is to fill skill gap prevailing in Informal Sector and Unorganized Market in India. Since its inception,RPPS is primarily engaged in the areas of skill development and training,development of models and teaching methodologies to strengthen the non formal education sector, services dissemination across semi urban and rural, all of which are aimed at achieving an objective of addressing the skill gaps pertinent to the emerging needs of a rapidly growing economy.

Vision

Under RPPS, trainees with prior experience or skills and competencies will be assessed . This will be an important step towards recognizing the skills possessed by workers working in the informal sector and their inclusion. This will also facilitate the process of skill upgradation and re-skilling of the existing workforce. The focus of RPPS would be on those job-roles/sectors in which it is most desired and it will be accompanied with a strong advocacy campaign to promote a paradigm shift in the labour market to make skill training to standards aspirational.

Objective

To contribute significantly to the overall target of skilling / up-skilling 500 million people in India by 2022, mainly by fostering private sector initiatives in skill development programmes . RPPS is primarily engaged in Recognition of Prior skill training.Zonal Coordinator(ZC) and Institutional Member(IM) are being accreditated for the purpose.
